R – RAIM (Check on GPS, STAT 2 > should see two yes’s)
N – Navaids and Needles (Check that your Flight Plan is set, VOR NEEDLE (white) and GPS NEEDLE (Magenta))
E – Emergencies (“As Briefed”)
W – Weather (“As Briefed”, unless different ATIS from Brief time)
S – SID (Standard Instrument Departure, “Expecting Cormi or Delta Route”)

N – Navaids and Needles (MOA = NAV, NAV, MAP = HSI to GPS)
C – COMMS and CHECKLSIT (Radio call to APPROACH NORTH, switch to discrete freq. 9 or 11, and OPS CHECK)
E – Equipment (Check G-suit and loose items secured)

F – Fuel Quantity Check (Make sure the imbalance is less than 50 lbs.)
E – Engine and Emergency Airfield (“Green and White”, State Emergency Airfield)
N – Navaids and Needles (Set GPS to Flight Plan 7 or 8 BUT DO NOT ENTER UNTIL RECOVERING)
C – COMMS and CHECKLSIT (Switch to Channel 8 or 10, REQUEST RECOVERY to APPROACH NORTH, and OPS CHECK)
E – Equipment (Loose items secured)
