When does LOW fuel annunciator illuminate?

A

When fuel quantity is less than 2000 lbs in either main tank

Will dissapear once fuel is above 2500 lbs

When does fuel CONFIG annunciator illuminate?

A

When center tank quantity is greater than 1600 lbs, both center tank pumps are producing low or no pressure and either engine is running

When does fuel IMBAL annunciator illuminate?

A

When main tank fuel quantity differs by more than 1000 lbs

Remains on until fuel is back to within 200 lbs

A

Max 49°C

Min 3°C above specified min temperature for fuel being used, or -43°C whichever is higher

A

6 total

2 in each tank, aft and forward main tank, L and R center tank

Will engines continue to operate without fuel pumps?

A

Engines will work on suction fees alone, with reduced thrust ratings at higher altitudes approx 30,000 and above.

1 pump can supply adequate fuel pressure to both engines if cross feed valve is open
