- Anxiety/panic symptoms
- Memory problems/confusion
- Abnormal thought content - odd ideas, paranoia, obsessions, hypochondriacal concerns
- Perceptual abnormalities/hallucinations

- Insight into illness - need for medication, treatment or to be in hospital
