Procedural requirements of interview?
Inform the suspect the interview is being recorded.
Request introductions of those present.
Give the place date and time.
Explain that they will be given a notice about what happens to the recording media.
Caution suspect
Inform them of the right to free legal advice.
If audible monitoring explain procedure in accordance with relevant guidance.
Section 54 PACE?
Custody sergeant has duty to ascertain any property person has on him in custody. And allows search on person in custody.
What to tell custody at desk?

Section 32 PACE?
A PC May search a person who has been arrested at a place other than a ps.
32b provides power to enter and search premises following an arrest for an indictable offense.
Section 28 PACE?
When arrested a person must be told:
That they are under arrest.
The grounds for arrest
The reason for arrest.

Section 18 PACE?
May search premises when arrest person that is owned by said. This includes all property owned by that person.
Permission from inspector required.
Hearsay evidence?
Evidence of what a witness heard another person say.
Documentary evidence?
Produced for examination by the court as an item of real evidence or to prove a document exists.
Document should be produced by the person who made it.
