Procedural requirements of interview?

A

Inform the suspect the interview is being recorded.
Request introductions of those present.
Give the place date and time.
Explain that they will be given a notice about what happens to the recording media.
Caution suspect
Inform them of the right to free legal advice.
If audible monitoring explain procedure in accordance with relevant guidance.
