Outline the sequence for surveying

A
  • set model in surveyor with the occlusal plane horizontal
  • make initial survey using black lead in surveryor arm, marking all the teeth
  • this will give you the path of displacement
  • following on from this, set the surveyor table at an angle and use a different colour lead in the surveyor arm (red)
  • this will give you the path of insertion
