Question 3

What antibiotics can be prescribed for oroantral communication?

Answer 3

Amoxicillin plus clavulanic acid (co-amoxiclav)- 1g 2x daily for at least 5 days
OR
300mg of clindamycin 3x daily for at least 5 days
