Surah Al-Ikhlas (The Sincerity)

Question 1

Sura Ikhlas Verse 1

قُلْ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ١

Qul huwal laahu ahad

Answer 1

Say, “He is Allah, [who is] One,1

Question 2

Surah Ikhlas Verse 2

ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ ٢

Allah hus-samad

Answer 2

Allah—the Sustainer ˹needed by all˺.

Question 3

Surah Ikhlas Verse 3

لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ ٣

Lam yalid wa lam yoolad

Answer 3

He has never had offspring, nor was He born.

Question 4

Surah Ikhlas Verse 4

وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدُۢ ٤

Wa lam yakul-lahoo kufuwan ahad

Answer 4

And there is none comparable to Him.”
