Surah Al-Asr ( The Time )

Question 1

Surah Asr Verse 1 :

وَٱلْعَصْرِ ١

Wal ‘asr

Answer 1

By the ˹passage of˺ time!

Question 2

Surah Asr Verse 2 :

إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لَفِى خُسْرٍ ٢

Innal insaana lafee khusr

Answer 2

man is most surely in a continuous state of loss,

Question 3

Surah Asr Verse 3:

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوْاْ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْاْ بِٱلصَّبْرِ ٣

Illal lazeena aamanoo wa ‘amilus saalihaati wa tawaasaw bilhaqq; wa tawaasaw bissabr

Answer 3

Except those who believed and did righteous deeds, and advised each other for truth, and advised each other for patience.
