What condition is thiamine used for?

What is vitamin B commonly used for?
Off-feed cows
Why can’t we just use vitamin B complex (which includes thiamine) to treat PEM?
Vitamin B complex contains a wimpy amount of thiamine compared to the amount needed to treat PEM
Where do animals get vitamins A and D normally? When do we like to supplement A and D?

Most supplementation is for newborns or spring calves that aren’t on good mineral-vitamin program
What can furosemide be used for in cows?
Udder edema
