How can children be brought up in a christian way?
There are Sunday schools where they can learn about the christian faith whilst their parents attend church. Some parishes have a primary school and a secondary school connected to them where they can learn christian education along with standard education.
Why do parishes try to help the family?
The church teaches that the family is where children should be brought up so the parish help the parents with family life. Also because they have a duty to help children baptised in the church.
