what did Lady Macbeth do just before her and Macbeth planned to murder Duncan
she delivers a soliloquy about summoning spirts, possibly selling her soul to the devil, tells the spirits to strip her from her femininity and to take away all the light, irony as later on in the play she cannot be without light

he has 1 logan servant called ‘seyton’ but when performed in jackobean times the audience would have heard ‘satin’ linking to the devil making Macbeth seem even more evil
how did Jacobean’s feel about witches?
they believed that witches were possessed by demons and had sold their soul to the devil
