a heavy summons lies like lead upon me
Lady Macbeth has told Macbeth he has to act like ‘the innocent flower’ but he is already worried and can’t sleep because of what he is planning to do
my father as he slept i had done’t
Lady Macbeth is saying she would’ve killed him but he looked too much like her father, she appears to want ti get rid of her femininity and questions Macbeth’s masculinity but can’t get the courage to murder Duncan Herself, she also appears to be strong but realistically just thinks of excuses
i think not of them
Macbeth is lying, it appears as he is unbothered by what the witches said and isn’t thinking about it when in reality the thought of what they said and the thought of power made him commit a terrible crime
