supervision he approved by more than one State.
Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO)
The performance of tasks required to ensure the continuing airworthiness of
an aircraft, including any one or combination of overhaul, inspection, replacement, defect
rectification, and the embodiment of a modification or repair.
Maintenance.
A document which describes the specific scheduled maintenance tasks and their frequency of completion and related procedures, such as a reliability programme, necessary for the safe operation of those aircraft to which it applies.
Maintenance program
Aviation Maintenance Technicians or Specialists who seek reinstatement of their
licenses that had already expired shall comply with the following conditions:
Within twenty four (24) months from expiration of license, he/she shall pass the
Civil Aviation Regulations test given by the Authority.
The set of processes by which an aircraft, engine,
propeller or part complies with the applicable airworthiness requirements and
remains in a condition for safe operation throughout its operating life.

Major modification
A certification confirming that the maintenance work to which it relates has been complied with in
accordance with the applicable standards of airworthiness, using approved data.

(2) that is not done according to accepted practices or cannot be done by elementary operations.

No person may assign, nor shall any person perform maintenance functions for
aircraft, unless that person has had a minimum rest period
8 hours
No person may schedule a person performing maintenance functions for aircraft for
more than
12 consecutive hours
In situations involving unscheduled aircraft un-serviceability, persons performing
maintenance functions for aircraft may be continued on duty for
(1) Up to 16 consecutive hours; or
(2) 20 hours in 24 consecutive hours.
Following unscheduled duty periods, the person performing maintenance functions for aircraft shall have a mandatory rest period of
10 hours
The AMO shall relieve the person performing maintenance functions from all duties
for 24 consecutive hours during
