El/Ella es - he/she is. Ella es rubia- she is blonde. El es de Guatemala
Where is someone from?
De Donde es… - de donde eres? Where are you from?
Ser + de + place
Es la una - it is 1:00
Son las tres - it is 3:00

Esta casa es muy linda - this house is very pretty
Estas ciudades son muy grandes - these cities are very big
Ese agente es muy guapo - That agent is very handsome
Aquel barrio es muy caro - that neighborhood (over there) is very expensive
Aquellos fotos son en blanco y negro - those photos (over there) are in black and white

Gender neutral - pronouns which take the place of a noun
Esto - this
Eso - that
aquello - that (over there)
