The present progressive is formed with the verb ‘to be’ plus the ‘-ing’ form of another verb. Estoy pensando - I’m thinking

  • ar verbs: drop the -ar ending and add -ando to the stem of the verb.
  • er and -ir verbs: Drop the -er/-ir ending and add -iendo to the stem of verb. Comer - comiendo. Escribe - escribiendo. Leer - leyendo

Present continuous - happening right now. Use “estar”
With “ar” verbs add “ando”

Cuál is used before forms of the verb ser when you are not asking about the essence or definition of something:
Cuales son tus libros favoritos?

Cuál is used to indicate a particular choice from among a group of things:

When cuánto is used with a verb, it never agrees in number or gender
