Where do reflexive pronouns go in a sentence?
Like other pronouns in Spanish, reflexive pronouns appear before a conjugated verb and agree with the subject:

yo me lavo I wash (myself)
tú te lavas you wash (yourself)
él, ella, usted se lava he, she, you wash(es) (him, her, yourself)
nosotros nos lavamos we wash (ourselves)
ellos, ellas, ustedes se lavan they, you wash (them, yourselves)
Compare the placement of the verb in these sentences:
Yo lavo la ropa.
I wash the clothes.
Yo me lavo las manos.
I wash my hands.

Before: antes de + infinitive
Ana se lava las manos antes de comer.
Ana washes her hands before eating.
After: después de + infinitive
Yo me lavo los dientes después de comer.
I brush my teeth after eating.

Time Expressions
If you want to talk about what time of day you’re doing something, use these two common expressions:
At or in: por la + time of day Él se afeita por la mañana. He shaves in the morning. At or in: en la + time of day Ella se ducha en la noche. She takes a shower at night. Every: todos/todas + las/los + noun Yo me lavo el pelo todas las mañanas. I wash my hair every morning. Mauricio se afeita todos los días. Mauricio shaves every day.
Talking about your daily routine
Reflexive verbs are often used to describe one’s routine. So here are some useful time expressions to help you describe your daily habits:
Before: antes de + infinitive Ana se lava las manos antes de comer. Ana washes her hands before eating. After: después de + infinitive Yo me lavo los dientes después de comer. I brush my teeth after eating.
