How to structure a source question:
Introduction: state main view of both passages - backup with quotes
Paragraph 1: examine passage A (make 3-4 points)
Paragraph 2: examine passage B (make 3-4 points)
Criticize at least one passage
Conclusion: state which passage was more convincing
How to structure an impact essay:
- It is generally easier to disagree
- Take a thematic approach
- 5 small paragraphs or 4 large ones
Introduction (state your argument but you don’t need to discuss rebellions in depth) - paragraph 1, paragraph 2, paragraph 3, paragraph 4, paragraph 5, conclusion
How to structure a causes essay
Introduction - state your argument and what rebellions you will be discussing
Paragraph 1 - explain how the theme in the question caused rebellion i.e. religious
Paragraph 2 - then explain how those rebellions also had another cause i.e. economic causes of religious
Paragraph 3 - explain only the theme introduced in paragraph 2 i.e. just economic causes
Paragraph 4 - explain the third cause of the theme cause i.e. political causes of religious rebellion
Conclusion
How to structure a nature essay?
Introduction: Establish an argument - state which rebellions you’re discussing and include causes - outline judgement criteria
Take thematic approach similar to impact
- Paragraph 1
- Paragraph 2
- Paragraph 3
- Paragraph 4
- Paragraph 5
Conclusion - summarise your findings and come to a judgement
Regularly address the question especially in the conclusion
