What does the cerebrum control?
Controls voluntary actions, learning, memory, personality, conscious thought
What does the cerebellum control?
Controls unconscious functions such as posture, balance and non-voluntary movement
What does the medulla oblongata control?
Used in autonomic control, controls heart rate and breathing rate
What does the hypothalamus control?
Regulatory centre for temperature and water balance
What does the pituitary gland control?
Stores and releases hormones that regulate body functions
What does the anterior pituitary gland produce?
FSH
What does the posteriori pituitary gland produce?
Stores and releases hormones produced by the hypothalamus
