  • Loss of consciousness or syncope = -1 point
  • Seizure acitivty = -1 point
  • New, acute onset of: (+1 point for each)
    • asymmetric facial weakness
    • asymmetric arm weakness
    • asymmetric leg weakness
    • speech disturbance
    • visual field defect
