Secure = positive and loved
Avoidant = unloved and rejected
Resistant = angry and confused
Evaluation
Replicable = research highly operationalised. Clear view of how securely attached infant should behave due to specific criteria created by Ainsworth
Low Population Validity = sample restricted to 100 MC Americans
Procedure Culturally Biased = design by an American according to observations of US children - ethnocentric
