Combat Support (includes all of the activities of indirect and direct support in addition to combat operations)
Five Types of STR?
Type 1: Resistance against an occupying power
Type 2: Insurgencies against a sovereign state government
Type 3: Indigenous Resistance Elements in support of FID
Type 4: Indigenous Resistance elements in support of CT, CP, or Stability Operations
Type 5: Indigenous Resistance elements in a contested, ungoverned space
