Stick attack: Stabbing down to side of neck (attacker using both hands swinging down from their right)

  1. Right hand to kung fu block at wrist
  2. Switch hands and left hand grabs, right draws back to head
  3. Punch with right, crescent hit down and grab stick
  4. Other hand on stick, nudge them fwd off balance
  5. Swing stick back up and right to strike

Stick attack: Swinging from side to hit your head/shoulder

  1. Step in turning 90 degrees
  2. Left hand blocks stick
  3. Right hand blocks wrist
  4. Left arm wraps attacker close to wrist
  5. Right hammer fist or chop to neck

Stick restraint: Attacker behind holding stick across you at chest height

A
  1. Both hands on stick one on other
    (Don’t want stick to slide to neck)
  2. Bear hug release so chicken wing right arm up and turn
  3. Arm ends up between the stick & the attacker’s right arm before turning.
  4. Keep hold of stick and pull through
  5. hold the stick in right hand hiding behind your right leg and have your left palm up facing the attacker.

Stick attack: Chopping, one hand stick swung up and down with their right hand, attacker to left the side

  1. As arm comes back push fwd with arms up like a diver into shoulder (break collarbone?)
  2. Drive knee up
  3. Wrap left arm and right arm under and grab hands
  4. Keep kneeing until stick dropped

  2. Bring elbows down on stick like you’re praying
  3. Double fist mantis punch
  4. Kick

  1. Push stick under their left armpit with right hand (don’t push arm through)
  2. Left hand grab top with reverse grip
  3. Swing body 90 degrees and bring left arm down
  4. Bring them close and knee to face immediately
