A
Cancellation of criminal punishment. Pardoned criminals do not have a criminal record (unlike clement) Presidents and governors have the power to grant pardons to those awaiting trial and to those convicted of rimes

the temporary suspension or delay in the implementation of a criminal sentence ordered by the court

A
The Governor may reduce or eliminate one or more items of appropriation while approving other portions of a bill

A
Power held by some chief executives (such as governors) to excise some portions of a spending bill without rejecting the entire bill.
