How do you turn on SORS Cargo Sprinklers?

Answer 1

1. Open valve across from dry stores.
2. Open Firemain valve in SORS machinery fed bulkhead
3. Open valve along stbd catwalk in SORS Cargo. (Usually it is open so you don’t have to enter the space. )

How do you turn on Cargo Hold Sprinklers?

Answer 2

1. Open Firemain (overhead) in DC Locker 1

2. Open cargo hold remote valve (T-handle) on the main deck in the companion way.

Question 3

How do you turn on Magazine Sprinklers?

Answer 3

1. Open Firemain (overhead) in Repair 1

2. Open magazine remote valve (T handle) in the vestibule next to crane pedestal.

Question 4

Where are the three isolation cut out valves for the forward Firemain?

Answer 4

How do you drain the Firemains?

There are several drain valves throughout the system you can open to drain it.
