1. bend and cut wire to shape
2. place dots of composite on abutments and toot in question (centre of tooth away from gingiva)
3. place wire into composite and molde over wire then cure (ENSURE wire far enough away from gingiva)
4. use high speed to smooth wire ends and composite

time periods for paeds splints

Answer 2

2 weeks

 - avulsion 
 - extrusion 

4 weeks

 - luxation 
 - apical middle 1/3 root fracture 
 - dentoalveolar fracture 

4 weeks - 4 months
- cervical 1/3 root fracture

*extra 4 weeks if bone fractured also
