What is annulus fibrosus?
leather strap type wrapping within the inter vertebral discs
What is Nucleus pulposus?
A hydrophilic (no circulation, absorbs nutrients)
What is the posterior chain?
Hamstrings, glutes, calves, erector spinae (everything on the back of your body)
What are the three areas of the anterior chain?
Area 1, chest and shoulders, lats, sub-scapularis
Area 2, abdominal area
Area 3, hip flexors to tilt pelvis
To increase spinal flexibility we must?
Go slowly and be careful
