Clinical features of syringomyelia

A

Cape-like distribution of sensory loss, pain and muscular atrophy/ fasiculations/ areflexia

Lower limb spastic paraperesis

Autonomic: including Horner syndrome, anhidrosis

Respiratory insufficiencies

Brainstem (syringobulba): tongue atropy, trigeminal nerve deficiency, nystagmus, dysphagia, bublar weakness
