To support their additional needs as much as possible

What’s the requirements for a respitory support aid for someone with sleep apnea?
It doesn’t need to be cleared it needs to be on a approved list
Where can you find approved CPAP/BIPAP devices?
Logipad/ CPAP-BIPAP guidance
What do you do if a passenger tries to board with a respiratory device that isn’t on the approved list?
Tell the FSM
When do special assistance pax board?
First
What’s a determined passenger?
Fly even when they shouldn’t
What things should you look out for if suspected illness pax
-abnormal skin colour
-movement
-fever
-sweating
What’s a WCHR?
A pax that needs assistance on the ramp but can otherwise manoeuvre themselves
What’s a WCHS?
A person that needs assistance on the stairs but otherwise can manoeuvre themselves
What’s a WCHC pax?
A pax that is completely imobile and needs assistance in the cabin
If a WCHC boards, what should you do?
Ask if they are able to assist in evacuating themselves
If the decision has been made that the WCHC pax should be dis boarded who should you refer to?

What should you do and what does it mean if a passenger is wearing a sunflower lanyard?
Ask if you can offer assistance and that they or a person they are travelling with have a hidden disability
