Should teachers be funny when they teach?
Yes, teachers should obviously employ their sense of humor while teaching. It lightens the class atmosphere and improves the relationship between students and teachers. In other words, students feel comfortable discussing their doubts and problems with the teachers. However, teachers must learn when to be strict, otherwise, it can impact the discipline in the classroom.
What qualities should teachers have?
There are certainly some must-have qualities for someone who teach. Firstly, the most important skill that teachers should have is good communication skills. They need to understand how to teach in simple words. Secondly, they should be good observers. They need to be able to pick up the fears and anxieties students have. Only then can they build their confidence. Finally, teaching is about patience. Teachers need to be ready to explain the concepts again and again if their students are facing any difficulty.
What is more important, practical skills or academic skills?
Generally speaking, I would say it depends on each person’s profession. Skill with more practicality such as communication skill definitely suits someone who wants to work in business field. However, if a person wants to be a teacher, a lawyer or anything that requires profound knowledge of certain subjects, they need to be an expert in academic skills.
Which age group is best at learning new things?
Honestly speaking, there isn’t any suitable age for learning as long as a person desire to constantly expand their knowledge. However, biologically speaking, people’s brains tend to function more slowly as they age, and thus they can be slow on the uptake. Therefore, it seems like the most favorable age to learn is when you’re still young. This can be seen many old people who struggle with new technological devices and have to resort to their children to lend them a helping hand.
