SP1: Jokes and comedies Flashcards
- Are you good at telling jokes?
Well, it really depends. I can be a joker when I’m around people I know well. However, I tend to be quite and reserved in unfamiliar surroundings. Like yesterday, I was at a party where I knew no one, so I couldn’t show my sense of humor as usual.
- Do your friends like to tell jokes?
Definitely yes. I must say my friends and I love to crack jokes when we’re around each other. We are particularly into sarcastic jokes, which usually make fun of everyday absurd situations. It’s a good way for us to let our hair down after a long day of work.
- Do you like to watch comedies?
As a movie geek, I would say that I always have a soft spot for comedies, especially sitcoms which usually revolve around daily hilarious situations. Actually, last week I just binge-watched the entire “Mr. Bean” series for almost 3 hours.
- Have you ever watched a live show?
In fact, I have never been to a live concert before. Since the entrance tickets usually cost me an arm and a leg, I would rather stay at home and watch it on TV instead. In addition, the concert is also too deafening and overcrowded for me to enjoy the performances there.
