Heightened diegetic sounds of sirens etc. creates a dangerous environment/ panic. Bloody hands (iconography of blood - slaughter) on fridge show Shaun’s oblivious nature due to his hangover as he doesn’t question workers disappearance of destructed surroundings.
Shaun lives in false-consciousness at this point
How does the girl in the garden sequence challenge the typical conventions of the horror genre?
The use of comic undertones, use of mundane house props as weapons and the hip hop beat in the background
