a DMZ stands for Demilitierized Zone it is used as an extra lyaer of security around the Networks perimter.

What is NAT and and PAT and its meaning
NAT(Network Address Translation)
stands for Network Address Translation it converts the COmputers private IP Address to the computers public address it only ones allow single host
PAT (Public Address Translation)
Public address translation allows for multiple duers to convert from private to public

UPNP means for Universal Plug and Play
It allows for Devices who is connected on the same LAN to discover eachother and automaticlly connect through network protocols
