What are the features of Copyright, Design & Patents Act?
Protects rights of authors of books, music, photos, images & other works. In UK all work subject to copyright restrictions.
The Data Protection Act-What can happen if you download & use an image for your own work?
Illegal if no permission. Subject to copyright, permission has to be asked for. Music files can be downloaded but payment may be required.
What are the feature of The Health & Safety at work Act?
Duty on employers & employees to work & behave safely. Applys to those using computers at work but not at home.
What are the feature of The Computer Misuse Act?
Relates to use of computers & data stored on them e.g. unauthorised accessing of materials stored on computer e.g. using anothers password.
