Human agency, Human capability, Vicarious learning, self-efficacy
What does Human agency consist of?
Individual agency, Proxy agency and collective agency
What are the steps of vicarious learning?
Attend to, retain in memory, production, motivational processess (outcome expectancies)
What is CT used for?
As an explanation for the negative effects of media use and as a framework to guide media interventions
Why do viewers mimick the behavirous of a a fictional character?
Because they identify with the character and therefore this increases the likelihood that the behaviour will be modelled. Also the nature of the interaction has an effect.
What is self-efficacy influenced by?
Mastery of experience, Vicarious experience, Verbal persuasion, Physiological and emotional states.
