Parliament makes laws for the whole country while provincial governments make laws for their specific provinces.

Protecting the environment and promoting conservation.

The safety of meat and animal products for human consumption. It also ensures humane treatment of animals.

Laws and regulations that apply to a particular area or town within a country.
What does the Department of Women, Children and People with Disabilities do?
Facilitate and support health programs such as vaccination and HIV AIDS access to healthcare. They also fight against harmful practices like child marriage and Muti killings.
What does the Department of Water Affairs do?
Makes sure that South Africans gain access to clean water and safe sanitation.
