What were the consequences of the plague for Europe
The feudal system had collapsed which made peasants move to cites to find jobs for more work and more people moved to cites. It had also killed 2/3 of Europe’s population. Merchants had started to prosper due to the feudal system not existing anymore which had also made them the top of a class system.
Where did the plague originate?
It had originated from Asia and spread across the Eurasian continent.
Why did people donate money to the church?
It is because they had wanted to be rewarded with heaven in the afterlife.
How and why did European cities became powerful in the middle ages?
These cites became powerful because 1.Mountians had stopped invaders from going in to Italy. 2. Trading cities began to thrive in Italy as early as the 10th century. 3.The feudal system was weak in Italy due to urban lifestyle and lack of farm land. 4.The ruins of city states of ancient Rome reminded the population great the style of government had been. 5.The power of The Roman Catholic church weakened over the Italian city states because the Papacy had moved to southern France, so the city states could rule themselves.
