What is agility
The abilith to change position and control the body at speed
What sports require agility
Football, Rugby, Gymnastics, 400m Running
What is balance?
Being able to keep our bodys stable while at rest or on the move
What are the two different types of balance?
Static and Dynamic balance
What is static balance?
Static is when you are stationary
What is dynamic balance?
Keeping balnced when you are moving
What is co-ordination?
The ability to use two or more body parts together
4 different types of co-ordination
Foot-eye
Chest-eye
Head-eye
Hand-eye
What sports need co-ordination
Some sports that require co-ordination is cricket becuas you have to co-ordinate both your feet and your hands to try and hit the ball and get it to the boundary
What is power?
The ability to undertake strength perfomances quickly. It can be written as a formula:
-Power = strength x speed
Reaction time
The time between a stimulus and a movement in response to it
Some good examples are swimmign and running
Speed
The rate at which an individual can peform a movement or cover a distance
