A

A

For most sportspeople, mental preperation starts long before the warm up for the game. Getting the right mindset is something you practise during training, and for which you may even get specialist support.

A common tecnique used here is mental rehearsal.

A mental or psychological tecnique in which the performer imagines or visualises themselves succeeding with their performance.

Where the performer pictures themselves executing a skill and practices it in their mind, focusing on the specific performance.
