- This shows that there is a strong emphasis on justice and that God will be the final judge.
This demonstrates that Christians should work for justice and support the systems that uphold justice such as the law and that one should speak out about situations that are not fair.
Give the SOA in favour of the criminal justice system and what it shows
’ Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities
- This demonstrates that people should follow the law of the land and that one should supports the criminal justice system
Give the story of the adulterous woman - include SOA
This story relates to when people brought a woman who committed adultery and wanted her to be stoned
Jesus said ‘let anyone of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her’
This shows that we should be aware of our own shortcomings before judging others as we will all sin therefore we should not judge people harshly
Give the SOA for good deeds
‘Then your father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you’
This shows that God wil reward
