What is nicotine?
An addictive drug that is stimulant.
What is tar?
A black, sticky chemical that causes cancer.
What is carbon monoxide?
A toxic gas which prevents red blood cells from carrying oxygen.
What are particulates?
The dust particles in Tabacco smoke w.hich damage the cilia of epithelial cells.
What are some of the diseases caused by smoking?
1.heart disease.
2.Emphysema.
3.Asthma.
4.blockage in the arteries.
Who smokes more men or women? and why?
Men smoke more than women because when cigarettes were made there were more men working with more stress than women. So, more men would have been smoking.
Has there been a change in the amount of people smoking?
NO there hasn’t really been a change with people smoking other that women started to smoke more like men.
