State the Light Stores Hang Up Drill?

A

“LOAD EMERGENCY HANG UP PORT/STBD/RAMP” - ALM

Evaluate then state whether the Hang Up is endangering the aircraft - ALM

If hang up is endangering the aircraft;

PF - “CUT FREE THE HANG UP”

ALM - Cut free and call “LOAD GONE”

PM - Mark Position at Load Gone

If hang up is stable and NOT endangering the aircraft
RED LIGHT - ON

If hang up is from PTD:
PM - Yaw trim apply 50% toward the hang up side

Avoid habitation, Gentle turns toward the hang up side, maintain drop speed, enter the Race Track, Push HUD Tac PB, Re-program the original CARP, Re-fly the CARP, at drop height.

At GREEN LIGHT - “GREEN ON, CUT FREE”

PM - Press Yaw Trim Reset

“Hang Up Drill - Complete”
