Pathophysiology of SLE (6)

A

Autoimmune disorder where the body produces antibodies which attack and destroy connective tissue in the body affecting the heart lungs kidney and brain
Linked to ethnicity as more common in Asian Afro carribean and Chinese women and linked to X chromosome as women are more likely to have it than men
