Previous lower back pain/trauma Previous HX of PGP Multips Previous difficult birth Those with heavy workload High BMI Joint hypermobility Not always any risk factors Sedentary lifestyle poor posture

Define what PGP is
A
Pain effecting the symphysis pubis sacroiliac joints and limbo sacral areas cause by multiple factors
Can e due to altered activity In the abdomen and hip and pelvic floor
Could be previous HX that’s caused trauma
Relaxing and progesterone relax smooth muscle of pelvic floor
Joint asymmetry leads to joints no longer functioning
Bad posture can also be a cause

Signs and symptoms of PGP (9)
A
Pain in lower back hips and groin Instability walking and standing Clicking/grinding pain Deep ache / shooting pain Psychological impact Pain in weight bearing Difficulty lying on side Pain during intercourse Pain in abduction
