What are the 4 layers of the epidermis
Stratum (basal, spinosum granulosum and corneum)
What cells live in the epidermis
Basal keritanocytes, melanocytes, langerhan cells and merkel cells
What are the two layers of the dermis and the different between them
The dermis comprises the papillae and the reticular layers. The papillae attaches to the basal later of the epidemris and produces folds known as rete, it is here that the blood is able to make contact with the epidermis, reticular has sweat glands, hair follicles, sebaceous glands and apocrine glands. The reticular also has a more condesned ECM comprised of collagen and elastin
