Authoritarian Coach
Demands discipline and makes decisions without any input of athletes. Often punish poor performance and makes winning the highest importance.

- Range of specialist coaches
- Leadership group to make decisions
- Looks after overall program e.g. Arsene Wenger
Casual Coach characteristics
- Allow players to make decisions
- Little direction
Distributed Practice
Involves shorter but more frequent training sessions with more rest periods
Sedentary Behaviour
Any time a person is sitting or lying down, they are engaging in sedentary behaviour.
Vigorous Activity
An activity exceeding a brisk walk pace such as jogging

Concerns characteristics of performing the task rather than the outcome.

Specific feedback on the outcome of the task.
