What is the human skeletons function
A
Support - holds the body together, acts like a frame. Helps us stand up as all soft tissues are supported by the skeleton
Protection - the skeleton is rigid and tough so protects organs in particular the brain
Movement - muscles are attached to bones so we can move. The bones have joints so you can bend (eg elbows and knees)
Blood cell production- inside many bones there is a soft tissue called bone marrow. This bone marrow produces red blood cells and white blood cells. (Red blood cels carry oxygen around the body whilst white blood cells help to protect the body from infection
