What is the issue with Google in China?
It does not search the entire internet when you search something. You are given results that the CCP are happy with you seeing.
What is the name given to the people that monitor the internet?
The Cyber Police.

- hacking into accounts and looking at documents and saved items.
- examining people’s search history.
- set up fake websites to catch people looking for info about protests etc..
- sending officers into cafes, libraries, universities to monitor people online.
What happens if people have been telling people the conditions in China or have made blogs against the CCP?
They take action: they raid flats, take computers and laptops as evidence and they arrest or imprison people that have been criticising the government.

Since 2009.
