It is the process of measuring psychology-related variables using devices or procedures designed to obtain a sample of behavior.
Psychological testing
the gathering and integration of psychology-related data to make a psychological evaluation that is accomplished through the use of tools such as tests, interviews, case studies, behavioral observation, and specially designed apparatuses and measurement procedures.

Administration Procedure
a code or summary statement’ that reflects an evaluation of performance on a test, task, interview, or some other sample of behavior. It could be a numerical or summary statement

A type of psychological test that provides in-depth information including cognitive abilities, the potential of a person, intellectual abilities, and knowledge.
Maximal performance tests or Human Ability tests
A type of Maximal performance test that measures previous learning
Achievement tests
A type of Maximal performance test that measures potential for learning or acquiring a specific skill. Minemeasure kung ano yung kakayahan mong matutunan
Aptitude test
A type of Maximal performance test that measures a person’s general potential to solve problems, adapt to changing circumstances, think abstractly, and profit from experience or general intellectual ability.
Intelligence test
A psychological test that is related to the overt and covert dispositions of the individual- for example, the tendency of a person to show a particular behavior or response in a given situation.
Personality tests
A personality test na may halong intelligence test

A personality test that provides a statement usually of the “self-report” variety, and requires the subject to choose between two or more alternative responses such as true or false
Structured Personality Tests
A type of personality test that requires stimulus at test materials and the required response are ambigious
Projective tests
refers trefers to records, transcripts, and other accounts in written, pictorial, or another form that preserve archival information, official and informal accounts, and other data and items relevant to an assessee
Case History Data
They conceive, prepare, and develop psychological tests

They publish, market, and sell tests, thus controlling distribution
Controlling by means that they cannot sell the test to anybody to prevent psych test leakage. Hinahanap nila ang credentials if you are allowed to purchase and use it.

They are Professionals who utilize Psychological tests for a specific purpose

Example yung zoom fatigue, wala naman non dati but yung society parang na feel yon during pandemic kaya yung construct na yon ay mineasure nung kasagsagan ng pandemic
