Procedure

A
  1. Do height and weight measurements
  2. Ask Px to sit with feet on the floor and loosen tight fitted clothing
  3. Add/Select data
  4. Put in data
  5. Explain whats going to happen
  6. Tell yhem to choose mouth piece and put it in machine
  7. Tell then to take a deep breath in and put their mouth firmly iver mouth piece
  8. Press start
  9. Count to 3
  10. Encourage patient to blow out as hard as possible
  11. When at graoh midline encourage to take a deep breath in
