- Macrosomia
- only 50% cases in babies >4kg - Diabetes
- High maternal BMI
- Previous shoulder dystocia
- IOL
- Low height
- Instrumental delivery
- Prolonged labour
- Male fetus

MANAGEMENT:
A
- McRobert’s manoeuver with application of suprapubic pressure
- Episiotomy for internal manoeuvers
- Wood’s screw manoeuver
- deliver posterior arm - Fracture one or both clavicles(cleidotomy)
- To reduce the bisacromial distance - Symphysiotomy
- Metal catheter to displace urethra - Zavanelli manoeuver
- Replacement of head and C-section

COMPLICATIONS:
A
- Increases:
a) Fetal morbidity: brachial plexus injury
b) Maternal morbidity: PPH, perineal tears
